This means that if you own the game on Xbox 360, you can play it on the current-generation system.Burnout Revenge is coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today — Larry Hryb (@majornelson)We tested it out on and immediately noticed that it ran better than the original Xbox 360 version. The added power of the Xbox One X allows for a much more stable frame rate. Unfortunately, the visuals are quite dated and, as expected, don't hold up well over a decade later. Burnout Revenge is the fifth game in the Burnout series and was released on the same day as Burnout Legends in North America. It was developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360. It is notably the only game in the Burnout. This time it’s not about winning. It’s about total domination and an utter disregard for the rules of the road. Burnout™ Revenge launches you into the fastest, most dangerous racer on the road. Exact revenge on rush hour traffic, vindictive rival racers, and everything else that gets between you and the finish line. This time it’s personal. This time it’s about revenge.
