The Complex is a mixture of an interactive thriller, horror and visual novel, a game in which you find yourself on your own with people of various types locked in a closed-type scientific laboratory complex. The game starts at the very moment when a biological attack on the city occurs. A huge number of victims are forcing the government to take desperate measures. Victims are placed in quarantine zones, in which scientists should study them. Well, you just play the role of one of the scientists and find yourself locked up in a laboratory complex along with victims of an unknown virus, colleagues, and more. Now you have to survive, make decisions, build relationships with people in the laboratory over a period of time.
The game itself is quite simple and only makes decisions at key moments and view tons of different videos, screensavers, and dialogs. Nothing complicated. But there is one «but». All your decisions here will have a direct impact not only on the storyline, but also on the characters of the game, and how events will develop, and on relationships with people, and much more. In the end, your decisions can lead to different consequences, which in turn will lead to one of eight possible endings.
